Nestled in the rolling coastal hills about
2 miles above the town of Rosarito is a haven for children of Baja Mexico in need of a home. This is Rancho del
Niño Nueva Vida, a multi-denominational boy’s home situated on 2.5 acres of donated land. Founded in 1999 by Pastor Oskar and Beatriz Kiser, the directors of the orphanage, the facility provides a home for up to 30 children.
The home is supported exclusively through private donations and volunteerism. The orphanage's most consistent supporters are a group of Rosarito residents known as Cha Cha’s Angels. Every month, the Angel's help provide food for the children and assist with the payment of school expenses, utilities, staff salaries, and other items that are essential to the health, welfare, and education of the children at the orphanage.
The mission of Rancho del Niño
Nueva Vida is to provide a positive, communal, and family environment that promotes the welfare of underprivileged youths in the Rosarito area. The children's experiences at the orphanage are intended to access their potential, promote a sense of security, foster self-esteem, and effect a constructive social change over the long-term.
